Benefits Attorney - Contract The candidate will assist the legal department of a Fortune 100 company. 7+ years of experience dealing with the employee benefits in the full range of matters including the following: Separation pay; Retirement plans; Executive compensation; Welfare and cafeteria plans; ERISA compliance and fiduciary counseling; U.S. and international plan design and implementation; IRS, DOL, and PBGC compliance; Benefit claims and benefits issues in corporate and employment transactions; Reductions in force; QDROs; Retiree medical programs and Specialized benefit trusts. Knowledge of and experience with the Affordable Care Act and wellness under the Act is required. Note: This is a contract opportunity with flexible hours and the work may be done remotely.
