Global Human Resources Solutions Retirement Director Duties: Work with companies to help them evaluate, redesign and manage their health & welfare and retirement benefit programs. Design pricing strategies, select healthcare delivery systems, and develop risk management and funding approaches that best suit the companies' employee populations and overall human resource strategies. Provide annual actuarial valuation and related services to a wide range of companies, as well as assisting a large number of clients with specific issues that they may have. Retirement Benefits Services helps companies address the need to mitigate pension expense volatility and enhance investment performance by utilizing sophisticated asset allocation, hedging and risk management strategies.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master of Science, Master of Science in Tax, Master of Business Administration, or J.D. required. 8+ years of experience necessary. Certified Public Accountant, Society of Human Resources Professional, or Certified Compensation Professional. Experience identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection. Experience as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation. Extensive technical skills in FAS 87, 106, 112, and 158 analysis and valuations. Extensive knowledge of the design, funding, valuation, cost management, tax and financial reporting aspects of retirement and/or health and welfare plans in a major consulting firm or corporate environment. Knowledge of retirement and/or health plan financial reporting, data analysis and domestic and global tax and compliance issues. Considerable knowledge of actuarial analysis.
