ProfileAssociate Attorney The candidate will join the Criminal Defense firm. Will meet regularly and communicate effectively with clients. Obtain appropriate case related materials, including case files from prior counsels, materials from court clerks, court reporters, police departments, prosecutors, and other sources. Conduct effective legal research. Identify and evaluate potential claims to raise. Responsible for writing motions, case management, and being up to date in the latest Criminal Defense science and research. Draft court related documents such as motions, pre-trial/post-trial briefs, appeals, closing arguments and witness examinations. Should be a graduate of an accredited law school and member of Connecticut Bar. Must have 3+ years of experience in DUI or criminal defense. Should be comfortable using the latest technology from online legal databases to iPhones and iPads.
