Ethics and Compliance Counsel, Anti-Bribery and U.S. Government Contracting The candidate will design and implement ethics and compliance programs aimed to ensure compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to anti-bribery (e.g., the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act) and U.S. government contracting (e.g., the Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and state and municipal government contracting laws). Partner with company’s commercial and product counsels in communicating with senior management and other company employees regularly and address anti-bribery and U.S. government contracting and procurement compliance issues as they arise. Provide timely, practical strategic and legal advice to a broad array of stakeholders from various business verticals and commercial legal teams. Develop and conduct internal compliance training programs. Oversee global third party anti-bribery due diligence program. JD degree and 5 years of relevant experience required. Experience: in U.S. government contract compliance including FAR/DFARS and OFCCP, and implementing related policies, procedures and compliance programs; with anti-bribery enforcement and compliance issues, with particular focus on the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA); with transaction monitoring and anti-bribery auditing procedures and practices required. Must be admitted to the bar in which the role is located in and are in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the role is located. 7+ years of compliance experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment preferred. In-house experience in building a U.S. government contracting compliance program for a high tech company whose primary business is commercial and not government and familiarity with issue-spotting in connection with U.S. government information security standards and programs, including, e.g., NIST Special Pub. 800-171, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements and procedures required. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment required.
