Senior Corporate Attorney The candidate will be responsible for supporting contract negotiation function globally, including negotiating contracts for professional services, marketing events, software licenses, sponsorships, advertising and other corporate agreements. Will provide advice on relationships with vendors, contractual legal obligations and termination of contracts, and other projects. Will work closely with Procurement and Sourcing teams to ensure cross-department coordination. Provide thoughtful and pragmatic legal support. Will also responsible for certain compliance requirements and implementation, including export controls, privacy, and other compliance obligations. May manage outside resources and/or internal headcount to achieve department goals. Provide pragmatic, collaborative and solution-oriented legal support throughout the company. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts internationally, including agreements relating to technology licensing, professional services and hotel and hospitality agreements. Provide project management, implementation and training in relevant areas. Collaborate with various groups to understand and ensure consistency with the companys business, financial and risk management objectives. Advise internal clients regarding legal and business issues, including identifying, managing and communicating risks and opportunities associated with specific agreements and business objectives and initiatives. Proactively communicate and escalate decisions as appropriate. Consistently anticipate, timely evaluate, propose mitigation strategies and advise management of potential risks relating to contractual, regulatory, compliance, financial and legal areas. Contribute to ongoing process improvement and problem solving for the legal group. May lead and manage direct reports or contractors, responsibilities include resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management Conduct various additional other legal and ad hoc projects as required.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree and Bar Admission, or equivalent qualifications. 8 years, preferable both law firm and in-house experience. Ability to effectively and drive issues to resolution within a team environment focused on growth, execution and process improvement. Developed business acumen, with ability to understand the company\s business objectives and anticipate the nature and magnitude of issues that could arise in various settings, including international.
