Data Protection and Compliance Lead Responsibilities : The candidate will be responsible for the Leverage knowledge of customer/market needs and emerging trends in regulations and standards around privacy, security, and compliance to drive product features, partnership, and compliance strategies. Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, PR, and other Trust team members to align and communicate our capabilities and to ensure accuracy, scalability, and consistency in the field. Serve as a security, privacy, and compliance expert for G Suite products with customers, partners, analysts, and regulators across markets and regions. Engage with current industry activities, emerging technologies, active and potential partners in trust, security, privacy, and compliance. Support Sales when engaging with key customers in heavily-regulated and/or sensitive industries/regions on matters related to Trust, Security, Privacy, and Compliance.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : The candidate should have a BA/BS degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Policy or a related field or equivalent practical experience. JD, LLM, and/or MBA preferred. International experience. Experience with data security and privacy challenges, requirements, policies, standards, and implementation strategies. 10 years of experience in information security, data privacy, standards, and regulatory compliance. Experience with EU policy regulations related to information security and privacy. Demonstrated experience with IT infrastructure implementation and management. Exceptional project and program management skills, self-motivated, and driven towards innovative solutions. Strong communication, quantitative and analytical abilities.
