ProfileCounsel The candidate will be responsible for providing timely and high quality legal advice and guidance for a variety of legal matters. Will report directly to the Director, Managing Counsel, Americas, Global Operations and Technology. Provide strategic legal and business advice on a wide range of commercial and intellectual property agreements, including, but not limited to, collaboration agreements, consulting agreements, licensing agreements, marketing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, OEM/supply agreements, research and development agreements, and sales/service agreements. Serve as an interface to various business functions and collaborate with internal clients to effectively balance the goal of minimizing legal risk to the business while supporting and assisting in the achievement of business and strategic objectives. Effectively manage workflow to meet multiple deadlines, as well as the expectations of internal and external clients. Conduct training to business functions on various legal topics. Provide advice and assistance on the preparation of template agreements. Coordinate with and support other members of the Waters Legal Team as needed. Must have JD degree and membership in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar. Should have relevant post-qualification experience 5+ years gained either in a national law firm and/or in-house. Experience in the scientific instruments business is a plus.
