Staff Attorney The candidate will protects the organization’s legal interests and maintains its operations within the scope established by law through support of the General Counsel and the other members of the Legal Department. Provides hands-on legal support to internal staff, as assigned. Identifies and analyzes legal issues pertinent to the Company and its interests as assigned, and assists in the development of clear documentation recommendations regarding the Company’s legal obligations and options. Drafts and reviews legal documents, including Vendor contracts, leases, employment agreements, non-disclosure and Business Associate agreements, corporate and LLC documents, purchase and sales agreements etc. Supports all Company defense and response to legal complaints and litigation, including discovery matters. Drafts company policy and procedure and compliance-related documents as assigned. Performs research and drafts research memoranda as assigned and other duties as necessary. Provides Research Assistance to the Government Affairs Department.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited law school and admitted and in good standing with an appropriate state Bar. Admitted and in good standing with an appropriate state Bar. No prior experience necessary. Can be entry level. Excellent communication and writing skills. Excellent time management.
