Corporate Litigation Counsel The candidate's responsibilities include: Assisting the Corporate Litigation team with implementation of the Company’s litigation strategy and development of standard best practices and processes for global litigation management, including dispute resolution; Handling all litigation, investigations and administrative proceedings as assigned, including managing outside counsel relationships and setting and monitoring budgets; manage the Company’s responses to subpoenas and administrative requests; Ensuring that data residing in the OGC’s case management software tool is accurate and up-to-date; tracking legal matter metrics as needed; Developing, implementing, enhancing and updating OGC and Corporate Litigation policies, procedures, best practices, and training materials; lead and/or attend OGC- sponsored training relating to matter management, eDiscovery, evidence preservation, and litigation best practices; Conducting internal case assessments to identify issues and make recommendations regarding staffing and objectives; Participating on cross-functional teams as an investigative and substantive eDiscovery resource.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Juris Doctorate degree from a top U.S. accredited law school with a demonstrable superior academic record. Admission to at least one U.S. state Bar. Should have 4+ years of experience as an attorney on litigations, corporate investigations, labor and employment matters and/or law enforcement investigations in a superior law firm, in-house legal department, at a government agency, or some combination thereof. Excellent leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills to work effectively at all organizational levels. Experience and interest in working with litigation tools and technology, including document review tools (iConect, Relativity, Recommind), eDiscovery tracking tools, and others. Strong command of eDiscovery rules and current legal technology, as well as substantial document control and case management experience, including document review and preliminary case assessment. Superior analytical and advocacy skills, including the ability effectively and efficiently to communicate in writing and orally, an aptitude for practical negotiation, the capability to think clearly and quickly under pressure, and the composure to satisfy multiple and often competing interests. Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills and the ability to learn quickly, work independently with minimal supervision, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and support investigations, litigations, information gathering and other projects in a team environment. Ability to direct and manage relationships with outside counsel. Must be able to obtain national security clearance. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed. Experience working with government contracts. Experience managing cross-border eDiscovery.
