Senior Corporate Counsel - Product Quality Duties: Support Product Quality and Brand Relations teams. Partner with these rapidly growing business teams as they design, develop, and implement new strategies, tools, and services to help ensure the authenticity and safety of products offered on websites throughout the world. Will help (i) identify areas of risk (legal, reputational, and compliance) related to products and their suppliers, (ii) define and develop proactive and reactive measures to deliver a world class customer experience, (iii) engage with brands and other rights holders to promote common objectives, and (iv) actively participate in the investigation and resolution of external complaints, in coordination with other teams. Providing ongoing legal counseling and thought leadership to senior business leaders, product managers, analysts, technologists, and brand relations specialists across a wide range of topical areas, including intellectual property, product sourcing and distribution, and regulatory compliance. Act as an exceptional representative to external stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Strong academic credentials including a JD degree from a top law school and membership in one state Bar is required. 7+ years of legal experience of legal experience, with some portion of that experience in-house and focused on intellectual property protection or enforcement. 3+ years experience in a top national or international law firm is required. Preferred: Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated experience managing other legal professionals. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and computer skills. Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor.
