Corporate Compliance Analyst The candidate will support the company’s overall compliance program, including the company’s Standards of Business Conduct and Compliance with Law Program, Healthcare Code of Conduct and policies and procedures relating to Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Antitrust, Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), HIPAA, Physician Payments Sunshine Act and Global Information Security. Work on company’s compliance issues, both independently and in collaboration with company’s Compliance Officer and the Compliance and Risk Management Department of the corporation. Oversee (i) due diligence performed on new customers, distributors and their principals and annual compliance certifications and (ii) compliance with company bidding procedures. Conduct regular policy and procedure assessment. Create or update policies and procedures as necessary and provide training on same. Conduct compliance risk analysis. Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. Develop and implement corrective action plans to mitigate potential risks. In conjunction with company Compliance and Risk Management Department, develop and/or implement (i) effective compliance training programs to educate employees on legal and ethical standards and to ensure a comprehensive understanding and (ii) compliance auditing and monitoring program. Keep abreast of new legislation and enforcement matters affecting the company. Promote use of the company and generally serve as the company’s advocate for the establishment of a culture of compliance and sound ethical behavior. Communicate to the company’s Compliance Officer and company’s Compliance and Risk Management and Legal Departments any potential violations of laws, policy violations and any incidents involving significant weaknesses in processes or procedures. Support compliance investigations and assist in implementation of corrective actions, with respect to any incidents, complaints or potential non-compliance. Collaborate closely with colleagues in Legal, IT, HR, Finance, Regulatory and other core functions in order to direct compliance issues through the appropriate channels for investigation and resolution and remediation. A four-year college degree and 5+ years of experience with drafting policies, managing compliance training programs and monitoring activities in compliance or legal business function required. Juris Doctorate and Compliance Certificate preferred. Strong presentation skills; broad and deep exposure to compliance and regulatory matters facing global companies required. Experience: evaluating information to determine compliance with standards, laws and regulations, in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems; in the development, initiation, maintenance, and revision of policies and procedures for the general operation of a compliance program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct required. Strong project management skills, to include managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects, and reporting progress and risks to colleagues and senior management required. Demonstrated ability to advise and collaborate with management on significant compliance issues, facilitating risk assessment and developing practical business solutions required.
