Legal Bill Reviewer Candidate will use excellent attention to detail and prior experiences to implement legal spend services for clients. Will be called upon to provide legal bill analysis support, reviewing law firm bills to ensure compliance to the client’s litigation handling guidelines. Use the data and other information to support clients with analytics, strategy, and reporting. Help develop best practices, train new team members, and support clients in more advanced spend management analytics. Review law firm bills to ensure compliance with the client’s litigation handling guidelines. Conduct analysis on billing data to identify spend management opportunities. Promote best practice bill submission and review procedures and identify opportunities to improve billing guidelines. Deliver advanced metrics on spend, quality, and performance. Train and manage team members. Identify additional opportunities to deliver legal solutions to clients.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years’ spend analysis or bill review auditing experience. Prior experience as an attorney, paralegal, legal spend analyst, legal bill auditor, legal bill reviewer, or billing coordinator for law firms is a plus. Experience managing teams is required. Should have experience in legal operations, legal bill auditing and bill review and be familiar with the major e-billing technologies in the market today. Experience using major eBilling software vendors, including Mitratech, CT Tymetrix, Datacert, Bridgeway, and others is required. Should be comfortable with learning new software products, if necessary.
