In-House Corporate Counsel VI - (B6) Duties: Draft, review and negotiate various contracts and documents and support the company’s Operations organization, which includes complicated supply chain relationships, including JDAs, buy-sell relationships, bailments, licensing and real estate/lease transactions. Providing training and develop programs to protect IP and accomplish business goals. Perform general legal research and due diligence in connection with the above. General understanding and support of projects and issues relating to intellectual property. Manage or support legal disputes, litigation and arbitration. General compliance with laws and regulations.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 4-10 years of legal experience with a focus in the following area: Commercial matters and transactions (buy-sell); Transactions involving the sale or purchase or IP assets; Licensing (including software licensing); Experience in: Real Estate and/or lease transactions; Financing and M&A transactions; Familiarity with HR Legal Issues (Employment Agreement, Data Privacy); Understanding of patent law is beneficial. Must have a strong business acumen and knowledge of the technology industry. Must be a proactive, independent thinker with strong organizational skills and experience and knowledge of the laws in the above areas. Must be able to work collaboratively across multiple functions, organizations, and with a diverse group of colleagues and management. Must be flexible, personable and enjoy a dynamic corporate culture.
