Profile

Regional Vice-President Duties: Grow RIA referral platform in Northern California (South Bay) and surrounding cities/counties. Be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with broker partners, with the focus on driving sales momentum for one of financial planning teams. Will work in a client-focused, team-centered environment in unison with several Managing Directors, an Operations Manager, Financial Advisors, Associates, and Financial Administrators to service the needs of the firm’s high net worth clients. Partner with investment consultants and branch managers to build strong relationships, educate them on our investment philosophy, earn referrals and capture assets. Grow and cultivate an assigned region through frequent visits to branch offices and ongoing communication. Meet directly with referral prospects via in-person and phone meetings. Provide insight and information to become a valuable resource and partner. Proactively initiate business development calls and identify new sales opportunities. Implement company policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to company standards.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. 7-10 years of successful sales experience in the financial services industry. Series 65 license. CFP (Certified Financial Planning), CFA, CPA/PFS, MBA or JD designation is a plus. Comprehensive industry and investment management knowledge. Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills. Proven time management and organizational skills in high volume, high energy environments. Experience determining the needs of partners and prospects through probing questions, offering solutions, and asking for the right actions. Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
