Corporate Counsel – Tech Transactions & Security The candidate will draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts with customers and others. Manage and own customer negotiations and contracting process. Develop and implement long-term contract, security and privacy strategies. Create, review and revise form agreements. Work on customer security questionnaires, legal contracts, and privacy issues. Manage and own long-term goals and projects within the Legal Team. Build solid relationships with sales, finance and other teams. Identify and implement methods for streamlining existing processes. Should have Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Must be licensed to practice in at least one U.S. State. Should have significant transactional experience. Must have experience at a well-respected law firm. 4-8 years of transactional practice experience is preferred. Significant experience in technology transactions, including security and privacy matters is desired. Must have familiarity with data security and data privacy laws and standards. Technical knowledge/background (e.g., a Bachelors degree in a technical field) is needed.
