Senior Corporate Counsel Duties: Support lottery business. Provide strategic and proactive legal advice and assistance concerning structure, terms, legal risks, negotiation of proposed transactions and contracts with customers, business partners, and vendors. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and agreements, including; agreements for the provision of lottery goods and services to lottery customers; product sale agreements; intellectual property license agreements and other licensed content agreements; purchase and sale agreements; and a number of other commercial agrements. Provide legal guidance and analysis in response to procurements for the provision of lottery goods and services. Identify and advise management and operations teams on potential legal risks, and propose alternative legal approaches to achieve goals. Research, analyze and advise company management on regulatory issues that impact or could potentially impact the company's business. Manage and partner with outside counsel engaged to represent the company on contract, transactional, regulatory, and other issues involving the company. Assess work distribution and determine the most cost effective provision of legal services for inside and outside counsel. Assist in the preparation and conduct of preventative legal training and compliance and development of supporting policies and procedures.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: J.D. from accredited law school and license to practice law. 8 years’ law firm, in-house or relevant legal experience. Government procurement experience preferred.
