Assistant Legal Manager Duties: Reporting to the Senior Counsel for Global Corporate Payments (GCP) will provide a broad range of legal service to and serve as part of a support team for the GCP business. Global Client Group: Negotiate client agreements with large Fortune 500 clients, and advise on compliance, contractual interpretation, and other issues relating to client programs. Interact, liaise and follow up with global account development and sales clients in GCP business in various regions; Card Products: Review marketing collateral created for Global Corporate Payment products for accuracy and compliance with existing financial and advertising regulations and laws, including but not limited to UDAAP, CAN-SPAM Act, and the FTC Act, and actions by the CFPB and FTC. The types of marketing collateral for review include but are not limited to: notice of benefits, rebates, and discounts for Card Members; product fact sheets and brochures; and material relevant to GCP Card Members. Credit Risk and Information Management: Support GCP Credit Risk Management Team in implementation of various initiatives, related to underwriting, credit monitoring, prospecting and corporate bankruptcies. Review GCP agreements to ensure GCP Credit Management Risk team maintains flexibility to readily action credit decisions. Data Privacy and Information Security: Provide counsel and advice to GCP Privacy Team and be primary point of contact for Enterprise Incident Response Program and Chief Information Security Office in handling matters related to security incidents and remediation actions. Advise GCP business contacts on Data Privacy and Information Security principles in context of client discussions. Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. Spanish speaker preferred. Strong communication, leadership, teamwork and customer facing relationship skills, all with a global perspective.
