Investment Banking Analyst, Convertibles & Equity Linked Origination Duties: Join the fastest growing equity-linked structuring team on Wall Street to provide analytical, research and transactional support to senior bankers, internal partners and corporate clients. Advises on the structuring and execution of convertible and corporate equity derivative instruments across all industry group verticals. Sit amidst the fast paced trading floor but with an emphasis on solution-oriented, investment banking advisory that focuses on an understanding of the client’s entire capital structure. Reporting to the group head, the individual will assume significant responsibilities and an integral role in the team’s business activities. 100% of duties required to advance the group’s objective of being clients’ leading choice for convertible and equity-linked securities. Exhibit a high degree of intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge a status quo, but also value the liberty to operate in an independent manner within a controlled setting. Identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business. Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities. Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: B.A. Degree or equivalent with emphasis in finance, accounting, law, hard sciences, engineering or computer science preferred. Demonstrated record of high achievement, ability to work within a team setting and ability to manage conflicting priorities / requests. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with computer applications such as MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
