New York City office seeks mid-level corporate attorney with 3-5 years of experience in transactional law. The candidate will serve in the representation of issuers, underwriters, institutional investors, trustees, collateral agents, servicers, lenders and sponsors in securitization transactions with a broad range of asset classes such as automobile loans and leases, timeshare interests, commercial loans, student loans, credit card receivables or mortgage loans. Will have understanding of regulatory issues as they relate to asset-based and asset-backed finance transactions and securitizations. Providing advice to clients on structured products, as well as advising clients on the acquisition or sale of portfolios of receivables or loans. Representing parties to secured and unsecured credit facilities, including workout, restructuring of credit facilities and other debt repackaging transactions. Should have significant experience in structured finance. Must be current member in good standing of the New York Bar.
