Profile

POA/LG Delivery Specialist II Research and analyze data and information received based on knowledge of POA / LG and /or QDRO specific technical area to ensure quality of data received. Identify and apply specific regulatory technical information to accurately complete work within appropriate timeframe. Focus on complex and difficult clients, while proactively assisting other specialists as needed. Works with team and POA / LG Manager to proactively ensure all deadlines and quality standards are met as a collective team. Completes quality review (2nd check) of work as appropriate. Serves as a resource for the team to assist associates in developing the best response or method for completing work. Also applies this approach with own work. Communicates to appropriate parties the technical concepts clearly and concisely both verbally and in written format. Also provides guidance to other team members regarding communication. Sets example, is a leader within the team. Communicate professionally and effectively with third parties including client, vendors, Noida /offshore team, client teams, etc.

Qualification and Experience

REQUIREMENTS: Paralegal certificate required. J.D. Degree preferred. Experienced Time to Proficiency. Strong working knowledge of workstation functionality (i.e., Imaging, Workflow, TBA, Maestro). Solid verbal and written communication skills. DB, DC, and HG&B Plan knowledge. Knowledge of state law and ERISA for POA/LG/Estate and QDRO, DB, DC, and HG&B. Legal research skills, including familiarity with LEXIS 1 year. Proficient in the Entry level skills as well as the following: Solid verbal skills in client situations. Extensive knowledge of POA/LG Legal Requirements. In-depth knowledge of state law and ERISA for POA/LG/Estate and QDRO, DB, DC, and HG&B. Capable of producing quality written documents in a consistent manner. Advanced legal research skills, including significant experience with the use of LEXIS 2 years.
