Corporate Counsel The candidate under the supervision of the senior vice president – legal, will assist in providing in-house legal services. Provide legal services to the company. Support business development team by providing legal advice on growth initiatives and opportunities. Draft and negotiate contracts including resort-level service agreements, financing agreements, joint venture agreements and other acquisition/transaction agreements including review of contract templates and forms. Coordinate with and manage outside counsel when utilized. Should have Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Must have membership in at least one state Bar (admission to Nevada Bar for limited practice as in-house counsel following commencement of employment). Should preferably have 5-6 years of relevant legal experience with a combination of law firm and in-house experience. Must have following ability: Ability to develop complex contracts and determine appropriateness of potential legal actions. Ability to analyze legal problems and provide timely, efficient and effective legal services and advice. Ability to identify, strategize and respond to a broad range of issues related to the business and operations of organization. Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with partners.
