Corporate Counsel (Latin America) Duties: Prepare bid proposals and legally binding contracts primarily for NOV Latin American Operations, including but not limited to: commercial real estate leases, vendor/supply contracts, master service agreements, confidentiality agreements and any other legally contractual agreements. Ensure bid proposals follow company’s processes, procedures and legal standards. Prepare corporate resolutions, proxies, powers of attorney, and shares certificates. Responsible for labor, litigation and all other legal issues for Latin American Operations. Manage outside counsel in relation to any legal matters that impact Latin American Operations.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree or foreign equivalent plus 3 years of experience in preparing and reviewing contracts for the U.S. oil and gas industry, including experience evaluating, interpreting and applying Venezuelan labor law, real estate law and corporate law.
