Corporate Counsel/Strategic Relations Manager The candidate will be reviewing, drafting, and negotiating license, sales, distribution, development, and services agreements. Will be responding to the needs of Sales, Business Development, Finance, Tax, Marketing, and other business clients. Advising engineers, salespeople, and senior management on licensing, intellectual property, company policies, and negotiation strategy. Advising senior management and other internal clients on corporate matters, recommending actions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and law. Improving standard form agreements and legal processes. Serve on special projects.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in a top law firm or corporate legal department, a stable work history, and education from a top law school. Extensive experience in complex business, licensing, and technology transactions required. Some experience with M&A would be helpful. An understanding of common issues in technology contracts, including open source, IP, licensing, revenue recognition, and others needed.
