Director Assistant General Counsel, Corporate Advisory Securities and Transactions Candidate will be responsible for executing on a broad range of transactions, including transactions in support of the Company's digital/mobile initiatives. Responsibilities include: Independently managing, including drafting and negotiating, a wide range of transactions, including transactions in support of the Company’s digital/mobile initiatives, complex procurement and outsourcing contracts, business line partnerships, alliances and other business agreements, portfolio sales and acquisitions, marketing agreements, and mergers and acquisitions, including leading complex due diligence reviews. Counseling and advising client groups, including providing legal advice on complex legal issues. Managing and coordinating outside counsel, when necessary. Implementing and monitoring repeatable, controlled processes for transactional work.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate should have a J.D. degree and 6+ years of transactional experience as an attorney in a law firm and/or in-house legal department. Experience in digital, mobile and technology related transactions is preferred. Experience across a broad range of commercial transactions including in-house procurement or outsourcing transactions; portfolio and other asset sales and acquisitions, private and public mergers and acquisitions, credit card partnerships, and marketing alliances is desired. Experience providing significant transactional support to clients in the financial services industry is a plus.
