Sourcing Supply Chain Contract Manager Candidate manage the day-to-day operations of network equipment through multiple channels and ensure product support to customers through logistics, inventory planning and cost efficiencies. Will be responsible for contract development and management of all contractual documents, working in partnership with the Sourcing Process Leaders (SPLs), Suppliers, internal Business and Legal Departments. Act as an advisor and/or expert for contract related issues. Day to day work requires significant interpretation of diverse issues and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables in a very dynamic and variable environment where business assumptions frequently fluctuate. Work closely with Internal Audit and Supplier’s auditors to resolve contract compliance issues. Accelerate the development of contracts, amendments, and SOWs. Draft, revise and edit contractual documents. Maintain Supplier contracts and SOWs. Monitor contract renewals and other key contract milestones. Contract compliance issue resolution. Proactive risk and issue identification, management and solution recommendation. Will be responsible for development of contractual documents. Provide leadership in drafting and negotiating terms and conditions with Suppliers. In accordance with company's priorities, review Supplier requests for changes to contract, assess risk of implementing changes, and recommend company's response. Secure Legal approval (as required) of response and negotiate resolution with Supplier. Identify and assist issue review with company's subject matter experts. Review contract modifications received from company's clients or Suppliers. Provide points of view on the implications and next steps regarding contract changes. Monitor contract status and report on upcoming contract renewals or expirations. Partner with the SPLs to renew and revise contracts with Suppliers as needed. Monitor other key contract milestones and provide recommended contract actions. Provide contractual interpretation of terms and documents. Assist with drafting and executing Contract Approval Sheet. Manage Supplier dispute resolution through formal or informal dispute resolution channels. Review and interpret Sourcing and Corporate Policy requirements.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 4–6 years related experience in contract management or sourcing position. JD, MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing agreements with significant annual spend is needed. Certifications from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), and Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is preferred.
