Corporate Staff Attorney - Contracts Duties: Under the general direction of the General Counsel, assists in the review, drafting and negotiation of standard and non-standard agreements for oil and gas services, construction services and fabrication services, along with other agreements and contracts, including vendor, licensing, statements of work, non-disclosure and consulting agreements. Work with the Company's procurement and supply chain departments to prepare bid documentation and negotiate contracts with the Company's vendors, customers and partners, globally. Review, draft, negotiate and efficiently close contracts, and at all times protect the Company's interests. Assist internal clients in articulating business needs in contract terms. Work with others in the legal group, identifying and escalating complex legal and factual issues and assisting in their resolution. Work with supply chain management to manage and prepare bid responses in a timely fashion. Work with procurement to streamline and facilitate vendor contracts. Provide strong partnership and establish and maintain strong relationships with business lines. Support continuous improvement of form agreements and internal processes. Promote continual development, optimization and implementation of contracts processes and standards. Support and assist with other legal and reporting matters. Prepare reports, spreadsheets and statistical data to facilitate planning and maintenance of accurate records. Provide leadership and education in energy Company's zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations. Perform other duties as assigned by the counsel. Requirements: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree required. J.D. degree from accredited ABA institution is required. 3+ years of legal experience. In-house legal experience preferred. Familiarity with oil and gas contracts preferred. Licensed to practice law in Alaska preferred.
