Business Analyst 3-Operations Duties: Be part of a Tier 3 approval and business practices team which provides centralized sales operations support to the Hospitality Global Business Unit (HGBU). Providing business practices and operational expertise to the sales force. Handle complex transactions, master agreement negotiations, compliance reviews and administration, contracting, and business practices challenges. The role will impact business units financial goals and directions and will require interaction with senior level contacts both within the HGBU, with customers. May support field enablement efforts related to business practices, working with Contracts, Legal, etc. Guide and influence decisions that result in achieving and exceeding business units goals and directions. Show a deep understanding of business practices and business approval processes including global approval matrices, contractual language and business terms specific to the software and technology industry and be able to articulate, defend, and apply such knowledge to complex transactions, master negotiations, etc. Interact and defend position during negotiations with customers. Draft appropriate contract wording for consideration.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree is highly desirable in particular J.D. Degree. A background in SaaS, License, Software, Consulting, GBU products, Business Practices, or Contracts are especially desired. Experience working with legal documents and complex contractual language. Experience in approvals and contract negotiations for various types of clients on complex negotiations, working successfully on cross-functional teams. Knowledge of sales operations and processes as they relate to approvals, customer negotiations, and contracting. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
