Alternative Investments Attorney Duties: Help leading companies execute their legal, risk management, and regulatory initiatives. Combine their national law firm and in-house legal department experience to bring value-added expertise to our clients. Working with alternative asset managers to join our Tri-State practice. Play an instrumental role in assisting clients with a variety of challenging projects.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Admitted to practice law in New York and in good standing. 5-8+ years legal experience; in-house experience required. Extensive, hands-on experience reviewing marketing material for alternative investment funds. Experience with private equity or hedge fund formation and regulation of registered investment advisers. In-depth knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
