Corporate Counsel The candidate reports to Director, Legal Affairs for the Americas and is responsible for providing guidance, direction and support primarily to internal stakeholders of company and its affiliates in one or more legal practice areas with substantial focus on Marketing, Advertising, Promotions, Data Privacy, and Commercial Transactional Work. Also provides legal support to the company Museum. May provide legal support for Commercial Litigation matters, subpoenas, and document/information requests. Provides guidance to legal support staff, manages outside counsel, implements tactics, policies and procedures and represents the Company with external stakeholders. Doctorate Degree required. Should have Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school. Should have 8 years of experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department. Must have excellent judgment, analytical skills, and ability to identify all relevant issues. Should have excellent decision making and problem solving skills. Must demonstrates organization, planning and research skills. Should have ability to provide sound legal advice that is responsive to the business needs of company and its subsidiaries. Must have ability to respond to clients’ needs consistent with corporate strategies and objectives.
