Manager - Compliance The candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the firm's US Compliance Management System and compliance programs. Will serve as a resource for compliance issues throughout the company and will collaborate with firm's International on compliance initiatives. Ensure all policies and procedures are established accordance to firm's International compliance standards. Support the senior management in the implementation and management of various compliance programs and systems. Build cross-functional partnerships with other departments to ensure compliance initiatives are being carried out and provide guidance on compliance-related issues to all departments. Support the risk assessments audit process related to compliance. Perform internal audits on existing policies and procedures, conduct investigations, and develop recommendations that align with the firm's US initiatives as well as firm's Internationals standards. Develop and facilitate new employee compliance training and ongoing compliance training for existing employees. Maintain an effective compliance communication policy. Work closely with firm's International on the implementation of projects. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctor (JD) degree or LL.M. Degree. Must have 3- 5 years of related work experience. Experience interpreting regulations, laws, and statutes is required. Training or experience in at least one of the following subject areas: food safety, HR compliance, OSHA, trade and import, licensing, procurement is required. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Admitted to practice law in any US jurisdiction is preferred. Experience in the retail/ food industry is preferred. German language skills a plus.
