Investigator Duties: Conduct internal investigations within the business related to allegations of integrity including allegations of compliance/regulatory/labor and employment violations. Role manages cases of a sensitive and confidential nature of medium to low complexity for the retail finance business. Work with Litigation and firm counsel, internal auditors, Compliance and Ombuds Leaders, Human Resources and other personnel to coordinate investigations, assess risk, determine disclosure strategy, and make recommendations within the context of an investigation. Provide briefings on investigative matters and prepare reports on findings. Identify significant issues and control weaknesses in the course of investigations, and make recommendations to management to minimize risk of exposure and loss. Formulate and recommend action responses based on results of investigations. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A JD with 2+ years of investigative and/or and direct experience in driving internal investigations; OR 5 years of HR experience with 2+ years of internal investigations experience; OR 5 years of credit card Operations experience; OR equivalent military experience. Experience with credit card operations, including customer service and collections. Experience with computer forensic issues. Prosecutorial or law enforcement experience.
