ProfileCounsel, Commercial Contracts The candidate will be providing legal support for customer facing contracts, customer oriented service agreements and other customer facing commercial arrangements. In addition, will provide a wide array of counseling and support to address the needs of firm's Specialty Health, such as transaction development, operational efficiencies of internal contracting processes, legal risk mitigation, customer relationship management and retention, and strategic initiatives and service offerings. As a critical contributor to firm's Specialty Health’s contracting process, have frequent interactions with internal stakeholders across multiple function groups, such as sales, finance, and distribution operations. In addition, be required to interact extensively with regulatory and compliance functions to ensure contractual arrangements are compliant and appropriately documented.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctor degree with excellent academic credentials. Admission and good standing to practice law in one or more US jurisdictions is required. Must have 6 years of experience, including 2 years of experience with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Must have in-depth legal knowledge that allows for expeditious problem identification and resolution. Experience in the interpretation and application of complex statutory and regulatory standards to commercial transactions is required. Experience with health care and the associated legal and regulatory environment is strongly preferred. Blend of law firm and in-house experience is preferred
