Contract Administrator 3 / 4 The candidate administers, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contract agreements. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer interface activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal and customer contract requirements. Integral member of and supports Strategic Business Unit (SBU) assigned. Analyzes, evaluates, and provides risk assessment and mitigation recommendations of customer Requests for Proposal (RFP) and resultant terms/conditions, statement of work, and specifications. Prepares/submits bids; contract deliverables, and other reports; advises management and SBU of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains contract files and historical information. Supports Contracts homeroom data calls. Should have 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 8+ Years related work experience with a Masters, CPCM or JD degree. Must be able to obtain a US Secret government security clearance. Must have demonstrated experience with highly effective verbal, written, PC, presentation and communications skills. Recent experience as a Contracts Administrator in the defense industry, particularly with the US Navy administering shipbuilding supplies/services contracts as either a prime contractor or subcontractor is preferred. Excellent working knowledge of FAR/DFARS; Export Regulations is preferred. Prior experience using SAP, Northrop Grumman Contracts Module is preferred.
