Associate Counsel, Transactions The candidate will work primarily with enterprise sales teams, supporting the negotiation and drafting of various agreements for business-facing products, as well as establishing legal tools and policies to support the sales process. Will collaborate with the enterprise sales team as a day-to-day point of contact within the legal group to manage enterprise sales negotiations and agreement terms. Support the Marketing, Product and City teams on various other transactional matters. Handle the review, drafting and negotiation of a wide variety of contracts including marketing and promotional agreements, advertising and commercial agreements, strategic relationships and other business and product matters. Continually review and analyze legal risks for Uber nationally and internationally.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 2-3 years of experience in mid-size to large-size law firms and/or in-house positions, including experience with reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Experience supporting an enterprise sales team is a plus. Must be interested in and familiar with internet and mobile technology, consumer products, international business, business-to-business and enterprise relations, and the legal functions related to these areas. Should have strong academic credentials and law degree from a top law school. California Bar Admission Preferred.
