Contracts Manager Duties: Assist in the development and implementation of business-centered contracting and dispute resolution strategies that drive increased order volume for the Division while simultaneously protecting against significant risks. Represent Business Unit clients in complex transactions. Draft and negotiate complex commercial contacts. Lead cross-functional teams in role as legal advisor. Ensure that contractual activities meet ethical guidelines.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree experience and 15 years of contracts negotiation experience OR; Master’s degree and 12 years of contracts negotiations experience OR; JD degree and 11 years of contracts negotiations experience. Preferred: Prior in-house legal department experience is highly preferred. Expertise in commercial law with proven track record in complex transactional work. Demonstrated track record in giving contractual advice on complex strategic and business issues to internal and external clients. Significant industry experience with leading OEMs and Oil & Gas customers. Strong personal leadership demonstrated by the ability to align, focus and build effective multi-disciplinary groups. The ability to be recognized as an independent and respected legal advisor, and ability to work in a complex, matrix structure (cross-function and cross-BU) where cooperation is often gained through influence rather than through direct command. Ability to interact in a collegial and productive manner with business colleagues. Possession of uncompromised sense of integrity and highest ethical standards. Strong written, interpersonal and analytical skills are required. Ability to use creativity and influence to meet and overcome resistance to change. Willingness to make difficult decisions and tough actions, with long term success as her ultimate goal. A results-oriented professional with a strong common sense and business acumen. Ability to prioritize conflicting demands in a fast paced environment.
