Contracting Manager The candidate will execute procurement projects that range from simple to complex, from start to finish, including but not limited to – sourcing requests validation per client guidelines, requirements analysis for the bid packages, communicating with client requesters to close any data gaps, prepare and publish the package to the identified suppliers, following up with suppliers to ensure adequate participation, and summarizing proposals back to the requestor, and working with the legal team to ensure a robust agreement that hold suppliers accountable for performance is executed. Establish and maintain client relationships with the Business Units, Operating Entities and Group. Partner with clients to ensure their business requirements are incorporated in sourcing strategies and corresponding supplier statements of work. Complete financial and market analysis of supplier products and/or services. Identify opportunities, issues, market conditions, and economic indicators, including upcoming contract expiration, and action plans, to realize cost reductions and sourcing opportunities. Lead Cross-functional teams in the development of quantitate and qualitative criteria for supplier selection. Effectively negotiate contract terms and conditions and pricing, establishing service level agreements that hold suppliers accountable for performance. Coach Business Units on vendor management of their suppliers, and support resolution of supplier performance issues when appropriate. Support continuous improvement of policies, procedures and processes. Four-year degree required: Bachelor's Degree or CPM Certificate required. Advanced degree preferred: MBA, Master of Management or Law Degree. 6-7 years experience required: Sourcing/Procurement/Contracting experience required. Knowledge of contract types, sourcing methods and procedures, performance incentives, contract law, and technology required. 8-10 years of Sourcing/Procurement/Contracting experience preferred.
