Senior Program Manager The candidate will executing sourcing strategies in support of category sourcing plans, participating in negotiations and contract formation, facilitating change management efforts, and directing cross-functional teams throughout the sourcing, contracting and vendor assessment processes. Supports strategic spend categories aligned to short and long term strategic sourcing category plans. Key contributor in the execution of sourcing and procurement strategies, provides reporting and tracking mechanisms, and helps drive cross-functional category strategy teams. Review, draft and negotiate all forms of agreements including professional services agreements, master service agreements, SOWs, purchase agreements, and NDAs; prepare contract summaries; work with members of the Legal department and other support groups such as Sourcing, Finance, HR, Risk and IT to ensure the timely completion of contracts that minimize risk and support optimal total cost of ownership objectives; analyze contract requirements, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with company risk guidelines. Will manage sourcing projects including but not limited to competitive bidding events (RFx), contract creation, negotiation, execution and related processes in support of the firm’s strategic source to pay (S2P) objectives. Will supports integration of S2P strategy across other support areas, line of business and third parties. Will contributes to the execution of a category sourcing strategies across various business units and spend categories.will supports accomplishment of company third-party/supplier risk assessment processes including,monitoring, control and mitigation. Will work with key business partners and senior leadership to understand strategic direction, supply requirements and business objectives and priorities. Will provide professional supplier contract review and recommendations. Will manage stakeholder and supplier engagement, effectively delegating activities and tasks to drive process to completion. Will interact with senior management across both Ditech and suppliers to ensure strategic direction, operational and quality goals are achieved. Utilizes strategic sourcing methodologies and technologies in developing RFx’s, contracts, statements of work, amendments, SLAs/KPIs, etc. in order to source and procure on behalf of Ditech and its related subsidiaries and affiliates. Delivers positive contribution to meet/exceed company total cost of ownership and cost reduction objectives. Participates in project management exercises, program development efforts, process enhancement initiatives, and compliance management efforts intended to facilitate achievement of objectives. Will lead and conduct sourcing negotiations as part of the contracting life cycle process via matrix relationships including but not limited to Legal, Compliance, line of business subject matter experts as well as third parties. Must have strong, broad working knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices and trends.Operating in a hybrid (category/business unit) sourcing environment. Ensures Ditech interests are protected with sound contract terms and conditions. Ensures internal business stakeholders as well as all third parties adhere to established S2P strategies, process and policy. Deliver contracts effectively and efficiently while protecting Ditech’s interests.Effectively communicate market dynamics to department unit leaders ensuring alignment of category strategies.Support supplier risk assessment, performance and relationship management requirements to establish and maintain collaborative, long-term relationships with strategic suppliers across all assigned categories. Support delivery of substantial cost benefits and advantage measured in annual total cost reductions. Will Develop, communicate, present and deliver reports to management.Ensure appropriate controls and compliance are consistently applied throughout the supplier life-cycle.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have BS/BA Degree in business, finance, supply chain or related field.JD, MBA or other post-graduate and/or significant work experience preferred. Must have 7+ years of relevant contract, sourcing and negotiation experience across complex organization and critical functional areas (Legal, Risk, Finance, etc.) Thorough knowledge of category sourcing approach, negotiation and administration concepts and practices acquired through previous relevant experience preferably in a large-scale mortgage company. Must have solid contract management and sourcing experience, with proven experience managing cross-functional and/or global teams in a highly matrixed environment. Relevant knowledge and experience working with contract management and workflow tools. Excellent organizational, analytical, time management skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation and collaboration skills with strong influencing and relationship development skills with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. Self-motivated Team Player who takes initiative and can effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives. Has an aptitude for innovation. High integrity and ethics. must have ability to manage process and relationships in order to drive strategic cost reduction, efficiencies and risk mitigation and controls across the firm’s third-party goods and services engagements.Contributing to the ongoing development of strategy for the company in this regard, including building support and consensus along with execution of tactical work required as part of the strategies. will manage and negotiate various types of contracts including, but not limited to; licensing, IT, financial, outsourcing, professional service and consulting agreements for products, services and solutions. Ability to manage strategic sourcing initiatives and projects that continually maintain assurance that actions taken are in the organization’s best interest with proven results. Strong contributor to an environment that requires and encourages integrity, collaboration and mutual respect. Must have ability to apply creative problem solving, through collaboration and thought leadership, when alternative approaches or opportunities are identified.Knowledge and experience with current legal and regulatory terms and requirements specifically in the areas of goods and services procurement as well as the mortgage industry, specifically.
