Contract Negotiation Manager Responsibilities: Will join the contracting team. Draft and negotiate contracts with enterprise customers. Handle agreement types may include direct sales and indirect channel agreements, RFP/RFI responses, nondisclosure agreements, software licenses/sublicenses, and evaluation/consulting services and maintenance agreements. Trusted advisor on contractual and legal matters to the company’s sales and senior management. Analyze and assess deal risk and recommend solutions that strike an appropriate balance between speed to closure, customer satisfaction and adherence to Avaya legal and business policies and practices.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: Law degree a plus. A Bachelor’s degree in appropriate area of concentration. Should have experience as a Contract Negotiator in a high tech company. 5-8 years of contract negotiation experience in a sales-driven environment in the commercial sector. Significant experience negotiating complex business transactions, preferably in a direct sale telecommunication and software licensing environment. Knowledge of Apttus Contracts Management application a plus. Familiarity with MS Word is required. Demonstrated ability to develop key business relationships. Experience with SW and Cloud a plus.
