Contracts Consultant Responsibilities: Create, negotiate, maintain and manage contracts of varying scope and complexity, as well as implement related processes and procedures. Apply business practices, intellectual property, resellers, leasing companies, and commercial contract law. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract terms conform to legal and business requirements and company policies. Identify and coordinate all necessary approvals to ensure that contracts adhere to Contract guidelines and procedures. Assist in implementing, coordinating and enforcing internal contracts process.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Prefer an attorney or contracts professional, with 6 - 10 years of successful contract negotiation, transactional, and/or in-house corporate legal experience. Requires extensive knowledge of the information technology industry and detailed knowledge of commercial contracts terms. Background in software, services and or information technology solutions. Should be a self-starter who is able to work independently in a fast paced high pressure environment. Excellent judgment and discretion required to interpret and apply legal guidelines, company policies and procedures. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (especially Microsoft Word).
