Commercial Contract Leader Duties: Responsible for using business & legal judgment to structure, draft, review, & negotiate commercial agreements including transactional customer sales contracts, contract amendments, purchase & sale agreements with strategic & key customers & GPOs, & consulting agreements as well as responding to customer RFPs. Drafting, reviewing/editing, and negotiating strategic and transactional customer agreements such as: customer sales contracts, amendments, contract renewals and expansions, and customer requests for proposal. Reviewing and approving higher risk terms. Managing contract clause libraries and contract databases. Advising sales and business teams on agreement structure and alternatives. Managing the contract approval process to meet/exceed business cycle time requirements. Leading lean and process improvement efforts to support achievement of business objectives.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. J.D. Degree or an undergraduate degree with additional paralegal certification. 3+ years experience Drafting, reviewing/editing, and negotiating strategic and transactional customer agreements. Ability to communicate using English and outstanding interpersonal skills. 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Financial, or Commercial Contract Management. Experience in negotiation and customer facing roles. Prior experience with contract drafting and negotiation and customer/client interaction and relationships. Experience of the Healthcare industry and previous exposure to medical industry regulations (FDA, Medicare/Medicaid anti-kickback). Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast paced environment. Extensive experience managing any or all of the following: transacational customer sales contracts, contract amendments, purchase & sale agreements with strategic & key customers & GPOs, & consulting agreements as well as responding to customer RFPs.
