Contract Analyst The candidate will, under minimal supervision, reviews, analyzes, revises, and negotiates construction, modernization, service and repair contracts to reduce risk. Should have 5+ years’ experience in working with high profile, high exposure contracts. Paralegal experience is preferred. Bachelor or JD degree preferred, paralegal certification or equivalent work experience in similar field. Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 and Internet navigation. Legal skills necessary to thoroughly review, analyze and negotiate high-risk or complex contracts. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills necessary to change priorities based upon customer needs. Manage workload in sufficient manner to meet all assigned due dates. Proficient in reading and interpreting contracts, abstracts, reports and legal documents regarding contractual issues. Knowledge of Total Quality Management culture and the ability to interpret bar graphs, run-rate charts and TQ tools. Promote the TQ philosophy and culture. Understanding of contract management processes and ability to advise accordingly. Ability to utilize effective listening skills. Ability to maintain high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Demonstrate the highest level of personal and professional ethical conduct and confidentiality. Understanding of legal concepts, terms and negotiation issues. Will work closely with Commercial Counsel, Contract Analyst and Contract Associate. Understanding of all products and service including branch related issues, shipping schedules and installation issues that are typically identified within contracts.
