Profile

Vendor Contracts Manager Senior Duties: Responsible for managing policies, practices, and operations for selection, negotiation, and purchasing/licensing technology products and services. Negotiates, extends, terminates, and renegotiates contracts for acquisition of equipment, materials, products, or services. Reviews and approves addition or deletion of candidates to preferred vendor list. Develops and implements processes and tools for different types of contracts, risk assessment, dispute and issue resolutions, etc. Arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts. May perform vendor risk analysis as part of vendor evaluations during the contract process. Integral in driving ongoing business process enhancement focusing on Technology Service Providers in support of Heightened Expectations. Consulting with Business Line stakeholders in the Initial Planning and Due Diligence review of Third Party Technology Service Providers. Technical consultant to the Business Lines ensuring timely and accurate Third Party Assessment Questionnaire (TPAQ) completion while actively facilitating resolution of issues. Responsible for Archer TPAQ reviews focusing on credible challenge of responses to ensure accuracy in enterprise CMDB integrity, information and physical security, expense, and third party viability. Work with the Business Line Relationship Manager and Business Line Third Party Risk Manager to ensure all related technology risks are identified and risk mitigation plans are identified.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Associates degree, Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience. Prior management experience in at least 2 organizational functions: Internal Audit, Supplier or Vendor Management, Contracts Management, Medium to large scale Project Management, Process Improvement, Quality Assurance, ITIL Functional responsibility, Risk Management. 7 – 10 years in Information Technology. 5 - 6 years Supplier Management, Audit and Compliance Management. 5 - 6 years in a management position with staff responsibility of a small team of employees or consultants. Experience in planning, developing and controlling moderate to large budgets. Must gain an understanding of the product/service to be provided in order to assess the accuracy of responses by the Third Party and Business Line Relationship Manager in their completion of various questionnaires.
