In-house Counsel Duties: Will work under the supervision of the Senior Vice President – General Counsel and other senior attorneys in the corporate headquarters legal department. Will assist in providing legal services to company. Provide legal services to the company; draft and negotiate contracts including resort-level service agreements including review of contract templates and forms; work with outside counsel when utilized.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Membership in at least one State Bar (admission to Nevada Bar for limited practice as in-house counsel following commencement of employment). 3-4 years of relevant legal experience with law firm experience a plus. Experience in contract drafting and negotiation as well as in mergers/acquisitions/joint venture/financing transactions. Ability to work independently but seek guidance from other members of the legal department when needed. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. Strong collaborative skills to maintain an effective team-oriented working relationship with colleagues within the legal department and in other disciplines within the company. Ability to apply experience and judgment to new types of agreements, issues and situations. Some travel may be required.
