Contracts Administrator 4-Fin The candidate will work closely with Sales representatives and other Oracle internal stakeholders to process (discuss strategy, draft, assist in negotiations and approval processes, etc.) commercial and public sector customers' master agreements. Will monitor contract and business terms to mitigate company's risk. As a member of the Deal Management - Agreements team, will assist internal clients (primarily, Sales) with cross-pillar (multiple lines of business) master agreement drafting, interpretation, negotiation, and administration, including existing, new, and acquired company agreements. Draft and negotiate standard and non-standard contracts. Act as a liaison between Sales and Oracle internal stakeholders (LOB approvers, Legal, RevRec, Credit, etc.) to resolve contractual and business issues. Will validate all aspects of the internal contracting and business approvals processes for accuracy and compliance with all of company's business practices and policies. The job duties are varied and complex, utilizing independent judgment in many instances. Processes and invoices customer orders in accordance with agreed contracts. Monitors contract and business terms to mitigate company's risk. As a member of Contract Management will assist customers, both internal and external, with license contract interpretation, negotiations and administration of licensing agreements including extensions, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations. Draft and negotiate standard and non-standard contracts. Act as a liaison between consultants, Credit, License, Tax, Business Practices, Revenue accounting, and customers to resolve contractual and consulting business issues. Validate all aspects of contract packages for accuracy and compliance with company's Business Practices and Consulting Business Approvals/Process while maintaining customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Submit contract order packages to Revenue accounting for order processing and project funding. Anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently. Prepare contract status reports.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate BA/BS degree in Business; MA or Law degree or equivalent. A BA/BS degree, Paralegal Certification, or equivalent years of experience is desired. Must have 8 years of experience in drafting and negotiating fixed price and time and materials commercial, federal, state, and/or local government contracts. Prior experience in high tech industry preferred. Prior experience in high tech industry, consulting, or professional services industry preferred. Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial, federal, state, and/or local government contracts is desired. Should have experience drafting and negotiating complex commerical, federal, state, and/or local government contracts. 5 years experience in contracts management is beneficial. Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS is beneficial. Proficient in email, MS Word, and Excel is required. Must have working knowledge of FAR/DFARS. Knowledge of company policies and procedures is desired. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical communication skills are required. Should be able to anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure master agreements are drafted, negotiated, and executed in an efficient and timely manner. Must be proficient in Email, MS Word and Excel.
