Contract Specialist – UK Region Duties: Provide timely and constructive solution-orientated contract services to maximise revenues and profitability. Develop strong links with key stakeholders, particularly in sales, legal, commercial, bid management, marketing and finance. Provide accurate and timely contracting support as per the agreed scope, including drafting, negotiation and implementation trigger. Ensure regular and effective communication with Legal, Sales, Commercial and the Product teams. Ensure that all documents are produced in line with the applicable internal governance policies (incl.: approvals, signatures, storage, etc.). Ensure the storage of signed documents, together with the appropriate approval forms and summary information, in both the contract management database and other relevant internal systems. Participate in the development and implementation of the wider UK Contract team’s initiatives to work towards meeting the objectives. Provide regular progress updates & proactively flag potential risks to Line Manager. Keep up to date with all relevant commercial and business developments, and relevant contract law developments. Assist in the development of know-how and precedent materials relevant to drafting and negotiation of contracts and ensure that these are shared with other members of the full UK team.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Legal English (fluent in both written and verbal). University or College degree (preferably in Law). 2 years related work experience. Good commercial, business and contract law awareness. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proven ability in drafting and negotiation skills. Experience of project management skills. Team working skills and strong communication skills including the ability to influence and persuade people at a senior level.
