Profile

Senior Manager, Contracts Duties: Will be a member of a global team consisting of 21 lawyers and paraprofessionals responsible for drafting and negotiating domestic and global business travel services agreements for Global Business Travel. Will report directly to the global Director of Contracts, and will lead a team of 4 other attorneys in the handling of our company's most sophisticated client negotiations. Lead critical negotiations, as well as team that includes 4 other attorneys. Negotiate with most sophisticated clients while also exercising people leadership skills. Draft and review all contract documentation; negotiate legal and business terms directly with counsel and other representatives of clients; ensure that all contracts comply with internal legal and business policies and procedures; facilitate the execution and safekeeping of final documentation; and handle general administrative responsibilities connected to the work of the Contracts Department, which globally consists of 21 attorneys and paraprofessionals all dedicated to negotiating business travel service agreements with our customers. Reports and assist them in developing their careers. Working with the General Counsel's Office, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance to ensure that contracts accurately incorporate all required language.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: J.D. degree required. 7+ years of contract negotiation and drafting experience and/or legal experience. Prior experience as a people leader is strongly preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills along with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external constituencies to drive business results. Position requires prudent judgment and ability to balance risk and internal compliance and controls with revenue goals in an autonomous environment. High level of integrity required for handling sensitive and confidential information. Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency and under pressure, as needed to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Ability to interface effectively and diplomatically with external clients, plus executives that are internal to the organization.
