Oversight and Control - CCB - Program Senior Associate (TPO) Duties: Will evaluate the control environment of the Third Party Providers focusing on the operational risk. The scope of the review includes regulatory compliance, contractual obligations, management oversight, policies and procedures as they relate to the company's contract, key performance indicators, service level agreements, change control and process management. Evaluate the adequacy of the operational controls based on risk factors. Document the inherent and residual risks found during an operational assessment. Obtain evidence and document results found during an assessment. Determine applicable regulations prior to conducting an on-site assessment. Partner with internal stakeholders, including business control officers, compliance officers, legal, execution managers and delivery managers. Identify risks at the third party that do not have adequate controls in place. Monitor and measure identified gaps as a result of vendor reviews, and ensure all internal and external partners are held accountable for their process improvement action plan(s).
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: A Juris Doctor (J.D) degree preferred. 3-5 years of audit, risk and/or controls experience preferred. Industry experience – Auto, Student, Credit Card, Digital, Commercial preferred. Strong knowledge of collections and litigation; knowledge of contracts and sourcing. Experience working in public accounting preferred. Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) experience/knowledge preferred. Strong knowledge of regulations applicable to third party providers. Ability to lead an operational risk assessment from inception through discovery and conclusion. Strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and must have exemplary time management skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with senior management within company and vendors. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and delegate work. Strong MS office Skills, including SharePoint. Some travel may be required.
