Profile

Technology Sourcing Consultant The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing contractual relationships with key Technology Vendors; Hardware, Software, Services, Hosting, Professional and Managed Services, Maintenance and Cloud Vendors. Will manage the sourcing process or as member of team responsible for the entire negotiation lifecycle on behalf of Bank Process Owners. Responsible for contract and commercial term negotiations, risk mitigation, escalation and managing the contracting process within compliance of vendor management processes and tools. Responsible for interfacing with technology Process Owners as well as vendor sales and contracting teams on a regular basis. Proactively acquires and maintains a strong knowledge of business initiatives, technology environment, industry trends, and Infrastructure Technology related products and services. Develop and maintains excellent working relationships with business partners, process owners, support partners, and vendors. Must have a customer-centric focus while mitigating risks on behalf of the firm. Leverage vendor and process owner relationships for value creation opportunities. Must like to the technology space and working with technologists and business units who leverage technology. Effective communicator who stays abreast of the Information Technology industry trends and proactively studies the market for qualified Vendors and solutions. Ensures Sourcing Manager is connected to the market and is able to stay current with technologies supporting the Process Owner/Client. Acts as a primary facilitator of the contract negotiation process for small/ straight forward contracts using tools such as RFX's and Ariba while interfacing with Legal, Risk partners, as needed, on behalf of the Process Owners/ Clients. Facilitates the process for performing due diligence reviews on Vendors, following the Vendor Management processes, and contracting standards requirements. Facilitate the re-evaluation of company relationships with vendors using a consistent approach on a periodic basis. May be required to support larger negotiations and project teams as a contributing member.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should preferably have SCM degree, Law or Legal degree, MBA degree and or equivalent experience. Must have BA/BS degree that posse’s sales experience with a MFG/OEM/ODM of Enterprise IT equipment. Hiring preference toward previous sourcing experience is needed. Hosted Managed Services provider, Application owner, Technology contract negotiation experience is required. Must have 3+ years of technology Sourcing experience is required.
