Corporate Counsel for Data Center Construction The candidate will work with company’s data center construction and design teams and partner with them to design, plan, construct, and equip data centers around the world. Responsible for structuring, drafting and negotiating construction related agreements. Work directly with the various business teams, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing construction relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries. Responsible for identifying opportunities for and implementing process improvements.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) and membership in good standing in a state Bar. Must have 3-5 years of legal experience (with 2+ years at a law firm) as a construction attorney. A mix of construction law firm and in-house construction experience is a plus. Must have experience in representing owners and contractors in negotiating construction and architect/design agreements. Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
