Contracts Administration 3 Requisition No. 13571 Duties: Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Will also include proposal development support for new and existing contracts at the request of the customer. Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Support Aerospace Structures with all contract-related matters as needed during Solicitation, Negotiation, and Post-Award Phases, serving as liaison to Legal Department. Serve as contracts advisor to TAS Procurement Team, consulting with Legal Department as necessary. Review and approve all TAS Procurement Agreements, with the exception of Adoption Agreements, which are currently handled solely by Legal Department. Approve all TAS T&C Deviations and Supplier Exceptions. Implement all Supply Chain Enterprise Contract Initiatives.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Engineering, Finance or Management. 6-9 years of Military & Commercial contracting experience. Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a proven ability to work well in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR/DOD contracts. CPSR AUDITS. Desired: Advanced degree or efforts toward MBA or JD Degree. SAP experience. Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR/DOD contracts. Ability to analyze, draft and negotiate complex agreements. Attention to detail. Ability to work across functions within a matrixed environment. Solid analytical skills. Ability to navigate complex situations. Strong organizational skills.
